Presented by the Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce

Terms for participating businesses

The Culinary Latin Trail · October 16th to 23rd, 2026

What registering means

Submitting the registration form is a request to join The Culinary Latin Trail, not an automatic listing. The Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) reviews every submission and confirms it by phone or email before it goes live. The Chamber may decline or remove any listing at its discretion, including after it has gone live.

Your listing

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit — category, location or service area, links, and any incentive you offer. The Chamber may edit formatting or wording for consistency with other listings, but will not change your incentive, address, or contact details without asking you first.

Your incentive

If you list an incentive, you agree to honor it for any diner who presents a valid scan-in confirmation during the days you specified, from October 16th through 23rd, 2026. You may change your regular menu and pricing at any time; the incentive is the only offer the Chamber will publish and promote on your behalf.

Your scan code

Once approved, you'll receive a unique QR code tied to your listing. Display it where diners can reach it during the event. The code is yours for the event only — please don't share it with another business or reuse it for a different promotion. A diner may ask to be scanned in without buying anything; no purchase is required for them to enter the Chamber's prize drawing (see the Official Rules), and your listing may be removed if diners report being denied a scan.

Your visitor information

After a diner scans in at your business, the Chamber can provide you the first name, email address, and visit date of everyone who scanned in at your location — never their visits to other businesses. Use that information only to follow up about their visit to you; do not add diners to a marketing list without their separate consent.

Independence

Your business remains fully independent. The Chamber does not operate your business, take a percentage of sales, or guarantee any particular number of visits. Participation is free and complimentary, as a Chamber business member for the event.

Removal

The Chamber may remove a listing at any time for inaccurate information, failure to honor a published incentive, failure to display the scan code, or conduct that reflects poorly on The Culinary Latin Trail. You may withdraw your listing at any time by emailing admin@lacccharlotte.com.

Liability

Participation is at your own business's risk. The Chamber is not liable for lost sales, technical failures of the passport app, or any dispute between your business and a diner. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under North Carolina law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, with disputes resolved in Mecklenburg County.
