The Culinary Latin Trail Prize Drawing, 2026
The sponsor of this drawing is the Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce, 4938 Central Avenue #202, Charlotte, NC 28205. Contact: admin@lacccharlotte.com, 704-280-1520.
This drawing is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta, Google, or any participating restaurant.
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and board members of the Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce, participating restaurants, and sponsors of The Culinary Latin Trail, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
The drawing opens on October 16th, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern and closes on October 23rd, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Entries recorded outside that window do not qualify. The Chamber's computer is the official timekeeper.
There are two ways to enter. Both are free and both carry exactly the same chance of winning.
Method one, scan in at three stops. Create a passport at passport.lacccharlotte.com and scan in at three or more different stops on The Culinary Latin Trail during the entry period. No purchase is required to scan in. Scan codes are displayed at each participating business and a person may ask any participating business to scan in without buying anything. Reaching three different stops produces one entry.
Method two, enter free by email or mail. Send your first name, last name, email address and mailing address to admin@lacccharlotte.com with the subject line The Culinary Latin Trail Entry, or by mail on a plain card to The Culinary Latin Trail Entry, Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce, 4938 Central Avenue #202, Charlotte, NC 28205. Each request produces one entry, the same as completing three stops. Limit one free entry per person for the entry period. Mailed entries must be postmarked by October 23rd, 2026 and received by October 30th, 2026.
One entry per person, by either method. A person who both completes three stops and sends a free entry request still has one entry.
Three winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about October 26th, 2026. The drawing will be conducted by the Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce and its decisions are final and binding.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. As an example only, with 200 entries and three prizes, each entry would have roughly a 1.5 percent chance.
Three prizes will be awarded. Each prize is one gift card with a value of $100 to a restaurant participating in The Culinary Latin Trail, selected by the Chamber. Approximate retail value of each prize is $100. Total approximate retail value of all prizes is $300.
Prizes are not transferable and no cash substitution is allowed. The Chamber may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable. Gift cards are subject to the issuing restaurant's own terms. Gift cards do not expire under North Carolina law; the Chamber will confirm any additional terms directly with each issuing restaurant.
Winners will be notified by email at the address on their entry within three business days of the drawing. A winner must respond within five days of the notification. If a winner does not respond in that time, cannot be reached, is found ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn.
Prizes will be delivered within 30 days of confirmation, by email delivery to the address on the winner's entry.
Winners are responsible for all taxes on their prize. Because each prize is valued at $100, no tax reporting form is expected to be issued. If the total value of prizes received from the Chamber by one person in a calendar year reaches $600 or more, the Chamber may be required to issue a Form 1099 and the winner may be asked to provide a completed Form W-9.
Except where prohibited by law, accepting a prize is consent for the Chamber to use the winner's first name, last initial and city in announcements about The Culinary Latin Trail, without additional payment. The Chamber will not use a winner's photo or full name without a separate signed release.
For the names of the winners, send a request to admin@lacccharlotte.com after October 26th, 2026 and before January 24th, 2027.
passport.lacccharlotte.com
The Culinary Latin Trail is a free digital restaurant passport, called the passport in these terms, run by the Charlotte Latin American Chamber of Commerce for Charlotte's Latin-inspired restaurant week, October 16th to 23rd, 2026. Using it means you accept these terms.
You must be 18 or older to create a passport. You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keep that email address current and do not share your sign in link. You are responsible for activity under your passport.
We can suspend or remove a passport that breaks these terms, which also voids any drawing entry attached to it.
Participating businesses are independent. They set their own offer, their own hours, and their own prices. The Chamber does not operate them, does not guarantee their offer will be available, and is not responsible for your experience, your food, or anything you buy. Listing information is provided by the businesses themselves and may change or be wrong. If an offer is not honored, tell us at admin@lacccharlotte.com and we will follow up with the business.
The prize drawing is governed by the Official Rules above. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
The app is provided as is. The Chamber is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under North Carolina law.
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom of this page shows the last change. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
North Carolina law governs these terms, with disputes resolved in Mecklenburg County.
Written to be read, not to be skipped
When you scan in at a stop, we share your first name, your email address and the date of your visit with that business. That is how a business sees who they served and can thank you for coming.
A business receives information about their own location only. No business is told where else you went, how many stops you have, or anything about your other visits.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone other than the businesses you personally scan in at, and the vendors that run our website and email on our behalf.
Sponsors receive counts only, such as the number of passports created and total scans. Sponsors never receive your name, your email address, or your visit history.
We email you about The Culinary Latin Trail itself, including your sign in link and the closing recap. We only add you to the Chamber's general mailing list if you ticked that separate optional box at sign up. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Scan records are kept for 12 months so the Chamber can report on the event and plan the next one. After that they are deleted or stripped of anything that identifies you.
Email admin@lacccharlotte.com and ask us to delete your account. We will do it within 30 days and confirm by email. Businesses you already scanned in at may still hold the information we shared with them at the time, and we will tell you which ones.
This app is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
